Climate Fit
Background
In today's rapidly evolving industrial landscape, the pressing challenge of environmental sustainability is more critical than ever, particularly for the small to medium-sized manufacturing companies in Denmark.
Since 2022, the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), in collaboration with the Danish Industry Foundation, has been working on the Climate Fit Manufacturing program, an ambitious learning portal for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies and related industries.
The challenge
These companies face the daunting task of understanding and managing their carbon footprints, with a special emphasis on Scope 3 emissions – those indirect emissions that are not produced by the company directly but are a part of its value chain. Historically, these emissions have been the most difficult to measure and manage effectively.
The project itself is a major digital learning journey targeting 50,000 Danish companies. The ambition is bold: by 2025, all Danish production-related companies are expected to have access to this cutting-edge resource, highlighting the significant scale and commitment of the initiative.
The solution
The Docebo platform, developed and driven in collaboration with the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) and the Danish Industry Foundation, offers a comprehensive suite of eLearning modules tailored to enhance sustainability efforts. These modules, created in Articulate and Docebo, cover crucial topics from data collection methodologies to strategic communication. They are designed to empower companies to forge robust CO2 reduction plans.
The user-friendly design of the platform ensures an engaging and seamless learning experience, encouraging consistent interaction and practical application. Furthermore, the integration of advanced APIs facilitates real-time data comparisons, an essential feature for accurate and effective carbon footprint assessments.
